Both/And is an experimental zine that visually explores the tension between objectivity and subjectivity in design. Built from hand-drawn observations, fragmented sketches, and layered textures, the project questions where rules begin and intuition ends. Through expressive mark-making and sparse but intentional type, the book asks: how do constraints shape creativity, and when do we choose to break them? The result is a raw and reflective visual essay that doesn’t aim to resolve the duality—but to sit with it.
